Northlink WA
In 2020 I opened the third and final stage of NorthLink WA, a free flowing dual carriageway between Ellenbrook and Muchea.
The completion of the project has been a great success for our growing north eastern suburbs.
It is reducing urban congestion in our communities, improving road safety and has provided a 4 metre wide Principal Shared Path.
Drumpellier Drive
The delivery of Drumpellier Drive (formally known as New Lord Street) as a key 2017 Election Commitment has benefited many local residents, cutting journey times by up to 20-minutes.
Along with the new dual carriageway upgrades a principal shared pathway has been built for the local community to enjoy.
The McGowan Labor Government is committed to creating local jobs and delivering infrastructure projects that connect our suburbs and bust congestion.
Reid Highway Duplication
The duplication of Reid Highway is now complete, introducing a dual carriageway between Altone Road and West Swan Road which has removed a key bottleneck reducing congestion, allowing residents to arrive home sooner and safer.
Included with the dual carriageway upgrades, the new Arthur Street Bridge is improving local connectivity for residents whilst providing better access to shops and local services on both sides of Reid Highway.
Alongside the road upgrades we have also built a 4km principal shared pathway which provides better access to the Swan Valley and growing suburbs for cyclists and pedestrians.
