Bus users in South Ballajura are set to have a more comfortable journey following the delivery of two new bus shelters in the area.

As a result of community feedback, Rita Saffioti, Member for West Swan, invited residents to provide comments on where they would like to see new bus shelters installed.

The feedback received by residents identified stop 15937 Hamelin Dr after Bellefin Dr and 15940 Hamelin Dr after Watheroo Ct most in need of bus shelter upgrades.

Both stops are located along major South Ballajura thoroughfare, Hamelin Drive, right outside the South Ballajura Community Centre and only a few minutes’ walk from Ballajura Central Shopping Centre.

I am pleased to have worked closely with South Ballajura residents to identify where new bus shelters would be most effective.

The new bus shelters will make catching public transport more comfortable all year round for residents and those who visit the community centre.

These new bus shelters build upon our Government’s commitment to transport and will soon complement signature project, METRONET Morley to Ellenbrook Rail Line.
