We’ve reached another milestone in the program of delivering infrastructure in the growing north eastern suburbs.
Progress is being made on the construction of two new interchanges on Reid Highway, with NRW Contracting Pty Ltd named preferred proponent for the design and construction of two new interchanges.
- Modifying Reid Highway to pass over Altone Road
- Constructing a new bridge to allow Drumpellier Drive/Daviot Road to pass over Reid Highway
- Building access ramps and roundabouts to maintain connectivity to and from the highway
- Constructing a new bridge and underpasses for cyclists and pedestrians, resulting in a free-flowing continuous shared path network from West Swan Road through to Malaga Drive.
Construction is on track to start in the first half of this year and once complete, will help to improve travel time and relieve traffic congestion in this growing area.
