People who walk, wheel and ride in the City of Swan now have a safer passage along Gnangara Road.

In line with dual carriageway upgrades to the Henley Brook Avenue and Egerton Drive roundabouts, shared path tie-ins have now been constructed at both intersections, allowing for a seamless link to the existing path.

Delivered in two stages, the Gnangara Shared Path upgrade project saw a shared path constructed along Gnangara Road between Henley Brook Avenue and Egerton Drive in June 2022.

The second stage delivered additional shared path tie-ins as part of an upgrade of the Egerton Drive and Henley Brook Avenue intersections.

The 1.3 kilometre shared path is now complete, giving residents an easier and safer connection to community facilities like Egerton Park, local shops and food outlets, as well as the iconic Swan Valley.

This State Government is investing more than $300 million in the coming years on new riding and walking infrastructure, dedicated to better connecting communities and giving people more choice in how they get around.
