The funding will contribute towards building improvements to increase volunteer capacity and appreciation of transport history at the museum.

The Motor Museum of Western Australia showcases motoring history of Western Australia and Australia with displays of motor racing, motorcycles and performance vehicles.

It is also home for hometown hero Daniel Ricciardo’s Red Bull Formula 1 racing car, a unique opportunity for visitors to see a Formula 1 in person.

The WA Labor Government, through Lotterywest, supports community projects and events, helping build a better WA together.
